Saints, Cougars battle to 1-1 draw

Goldsboro tucked away a penalty kick in the second half to salvage a tie against undefeated Southern Wayne on Tuesday.

Dixie Ramirez scored the lone goal for Southern Wayne in the 38th minute.

The tie comes less than a week after the Saints defeated Goldsboro 9-0.

The Saints (5-0-1 overall) visit Charles B. Aycock on Thursday.
