Chargers net 9-0 shutout of Kerr-Vance in tennis

Wayne Country Day earned three default points in a 9-0, non-conference triumph over short-handed Kerr-Vance Academy on Tuesday afternoon.
The Spartans had just four players.
Sam Dively, Preston Edwards, Hunter Hawkins and Lance Davis each emerged victorious in singles for the Chargers. Dively-Edwards and Hawkins-Davis prevailed at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles, respectively.
Wayne Country Day (3-1 overall) entertains North Raleigh Christian on Thursday.
