North Lenoir cranks out 22-0 softball win over Eastern Wayne

North Lenoir needed just 2 1/2 innings to finish off non-conference foe Eastern Wayne in a 22-0, mercy-rule victory Wednesday afternoon.
Janna Moore led the Hawks high-powered attack, going 3-for-3. Allison Montague, Roxie Stallings, Megan Lanier, Kaci Letchworth, Madison Allen, Shamara Branch each had two hits for North Lenoir. Kelsie Stocks also had a hit.
Letchworth got the win in the circle, giving up two hits.
The Warriors entertain Farmville Central today.
