Wayne Country Day blanks Wayne Christian in tennis

Wayne Country Day logged shutouts in six of eight contested matches and handed county rival Wayne Christian an 8-0, non-conference defeat on the John Allen Farfour Courts at Herman Park.
Sam Dively, Hunter Hawkins, Lance Davis, Nolan Davis and Young Wang each blanked their respective opponent in singles. Teammate Preston Edwards slipped past Graham Fussell 7-5, 7-6 (1) at No. 2 singles.
N. Davis-Charlie Dees and Gray Langston-Stanley Zhan claimed the Chargers' two doubles points. The No. 1 doubles match was not contested.
Wayne Country Day (2-1 overall) entertains Kerr-Vance Academy today.
