Rosewood grapplers defeat North Lenoir, Pamlico

La GRANGE -- Rosewood handed Pamlico and host North Lenoir a pair of identical 64-15 losses in non-conference action contested inside Wooten Gym on Tuesday evening.
The Eagles received wins from Tanner Smith, Reid Amodeo, Louis Tortual, Malique Boyd, Sam Drew, Joseph Waters, Evan Reiss, Josh Drew, Garner Besley, Rayquon Jones and Blake Dean against Pamlico.
Amodeo, Boyd, Nick Martin, Quan Joyner, Sam Drew, Reiss, Cam Helt, Dylan Melgar, Josh Drew, Jones and Kaleb Taylor each emerged victorious against North Lenoir.
The Hawks got individual triumphs from 106-pounder Curtis Thompson, 132-pounder Wayne Penny and 195-pounder Treion Fields.
North Lenoir's Brian Heck, Penny, Channing Rouse, Ferronte Harris, Shawn Sutton and Cooper Cromer each notched an individual win against Pamlico.
Rosewood (30-3 overall) hits the mats again Saturday at the Firebird Duals, which are hosted by Southern Nash.
