Rebels' Payton scores 29 points in league defeat

NEWTON GROVE -- North Duplin's Tyree Payton led all scorers with 29 points, but Hobbton's balanced scoring led to an 81-67 win in Carolina 1-A Conference play Wednesday evening.
Cedrick Kornegay and Luke Britt each had 10 points.
Hobbton had four players reach double figures.
North Duplin (2-9 overall) entertains Princeton on Friday.
