Hobbton girls slip past North Duplin

NEWTON GROVE -- Rylee Pate's 15 points were nearly enough to get North Duplin its first win of the year, but Hobbton pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 32-27 win in Carolina 1-A Conference play Wednesday.
Nilinie Devone led Hobbton with 18 points.
North Duplin (0-11 overall) plays host to Princeton on Friday.
