PIKEVILLE -- Results from the 2014 Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference girls' tennis tournament contested on the Luke Vail Tennis Courts at Charles B. Aycock on Wednesday afternoon:
Singles
Quarterfinals: Emily Uzzell (Eastern Wayne) d. Victoria Deem (Southern Wayne) 8-0; Kassidy Pitchford (C.B. Aycock) d. Kaycee Kemper (EW) 8-1.
Semifinals: Ashton Walker (CBA) d. Uzzell (EW) 6-0, 6-0; Hope Jones (SW) d. Pitchford (CBA) 6-1, 6-0.
Championship: Walker (CBA) d. Jones (SW) 6-1, 6-0.
Doubles
Quarterfinals: Sabrina Johnson-Emmie Collins (CBA) d. Taylor Stovall-Adriana Morales 8-0.
Semifinals: Elizabeth Sutton-Brennan Dove (EW) d. Johnson-Collins (CBA) 6-1, 6-2; Casie Belom-Cassidy Coerver (CBA) d. Samantha Roux-Kathryn Harrison (EW) 6-0, 6-1.
