Rosewood drops first set, rebounds against Neuse Charter

A rocky start for Rosewood put the Eagles a game behind, but they righted the ship in time to defeat Carolina 1-A Conference opponent Neuse Charter 15-25, 25-12, 25-5, 25-12.
Ada Rivera had 27 assists for the Eagles, who had four players finish with three or more kills. Lexi Mercer and Ashley Thornton each had nine kills in the win.
Rosewood (11-8 overall, 6-5 CC) travels to Spring Creek on Thursday.
Earlier in the week, Rosewood defeated Southern Wayne in three games. Rivera had 23 assists to go along with Mercer's 18 kills and Callie Thornton's 12 digs.
