Golden Falcons net share of ECC 3A/4A tennis crown

Charles B. Aycock swept the singles courts before rain halted play and gave the Golden Falcons a 6-0 win over Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A foe South Central on Thursday.
Aycock clinched at least a share of the ECC regular-season title.
Ashton Walker, Casie Belom, Kassidy Pitchford, Sabrina Johnson, Emmie Collins and Meredith Jones all got wins for CBA. South Central won just three games during the match.
The Golden Falcons (12-1 overall, 10-0 ECC) travel to Wilson Hunt on Monday.
