Hannah Sladick delivered five kills during Wayne Christian's 21-25, 16-25, 5-25 loss to Community Christian in a Carolina Christian 1-A Conference match Monday.
Holly Gurley served five aces and emerged as the defensive leader with 27 digs.
The Eagles (4-10 overall, 0-5 CCC) entertain Lee Christian today. It's the final home match for Wayne Christian senior libero Reagan Taylor.
