* Volleyball: North Lenoir 2, Goldsboro 0 -- North Lenoir toppled Goldsboro in two games 25-9, 25-21 on Tuesday. J'lesa Saul had 13 service points and Allyson Montague and Kelsie Stocks had seven each.North Lenoir is 8-6 on the season.
Middle schools
* Volleyball: Greenwood 3, Wayne School of Engineering 2 -- Greenwood defeated Wayne School of Engineering 25-22, 19-25, 25-18, 21-25, 15-12. Alana Kazar led the T-Birds with six aces. Alyssa Jackson, Yuka Akiyama,and Alliyah Mabry also contributed two aces apiece. Greenwood hosts Rosewood on Thursday.
* Soccer: Greenwood 2, Wayne School of Engineering 1 -- Tyler Scott and Ashton Love each found the net in Greenwood's 2-1 win over Wayne School of Engineering on Tuesday. Jaleek Lewis assisted one goal. Greennwood hosts Rosewood on Thursday.
