Davis has solid floor game in Goldsboro's volleyball loss

Allyson Heath dished out 24 assists and North Lenoir defeated Eastern Carolina 2-A opponent Goldsboro 25-12, 25-17, 25-14 on Tuesday evening.
Paige Sports had seven kills for the Hawks. Laura Haerer and Mya Parks combined for 10 kills.
Alexus Davis led the Cougars with five kills, two aces and three blocks. Becka Pittard returned to action after missing the last three weeks with an injury and had five kills.
Matti Rose Lyon chipped in 10 assists.
Goldsboro (9-5 overall, 1-3 ECC) plays host to Greene Central in their "Fight for a Cure" game to help raise money for cancer research on Thursday. The Hawks (10-4 overall) climbed to 3-1 in the ECC this season.
