Rachel Uzzell dished out 16 assists in Wayne Country Day's 15-25, 17-25, 18-25 loss to Statesville Christian.
Stephanie Schappell recorded four kills. Savannah Strickland, Sarah Crooks and Tiffany Larsen posted three kills apiece.
"Statesville is a very scrappy team that we should have been able to beat, or at least keep up with WCDS head coach Steven Mau said. "Unfortunately, we had far too many unforced errors and missed opportunities to be able to stay in the match."
The Chargers (3-5 overall) entertain Greenfield on Tuesday.
