Big Rock Blue Marlin: Chainlink takes 4th overall

MOREHEAD CITY -- Goldsboro-based Chainlink wound up fourth overall and pocketed an $84,150 paycheck during the 56th installment of the Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament.
Chainlink angler Wes Seegars reeled in a 412.7-pound blue marlin on Thursday, which put the crew in third place. Later in the day, Ava D backed into port and hoisted a 491.4-pound blue marlin onto the scales, which supplanted Chainlink from third place.
Inspiration Sportfishing emerged as the Big Rock Blue Marlin champion with a monster catch of 754.3 pounds, and took home $306,137. Runner-up Eye Catcher earned a $52,457 payday.
