ECBL: CBA White, E. Wayne split doubleheader

C.B. Aycock White and Eastern Wayne split an Eastern Carolina Baseball League doubleheader Tuesday evening.
Chandler Matthews and Luke Frederick combined for four hits and each scored two runs in an 8-1, game one victory. Eastern Wayne took the nightcap, 6-3.
Chris Turner (two RBI) and Nick Aycock (RBI) provided one hit apiece for CBA White in the opener. Matthews tossed a complete-game five-hitter and logged four strikeouts.
Aycock, Joey Hampton and Jordan Gay each had a hit for CBA White in game two. Frederick endured the mound loss.
Eastern Wayne stats were not reported to the News-Argus.
