ECBL: Wayne Christian trio handcuffs North Duplin

Holden Foster, Tanner Rose and Austin Howell combined to throw a five-hitter and Wayne Christian beat North Duplin 9-3 in an Eastern Carolina Baseball League game Tuesday evening.
Rose led the Eagles with two hits and Hunter Burt drove in a pair of runs. Howell, Ted Suggs, Jaxon Anderson, Ryan Kennedy and Foster each had hits for Wayne Christian.
Foster got the win on the mound and had four strikeouts.
North Duplin did not report its stats.
