Warriors shut out Falcons on soccer pitch

Eastern Wayne scored in the first minute of the match and never took its foot off the gas on its way to a 5-0 win over Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A foe South Central.
Cheyenne Craft scored the first two goals for the Warriors. Brennan Dove added an assist and a goal. Megan Mozingo added two goals.
Eastern Wayne outshot the Falcons 30-7.
Erica Duke recorded the shutout in goal with four saves. It was her third shutout in a row and sixth of the season.
The Warriors (8-4-0 overall, 4-4-0 ECC) travel to J.H. Rose on April 29.
