Wayne Christian stays unbeaten in CCC 1A play

Wayne Christian cranked out 13 hits on its way to a 12-1 mercy-rule triumph over Carolina Christian 1-A Conference foe Cape Fear Christian on Thursday.
Hunter Burt, Tanner Rose, Holden Foster and Tyler Mozingo each had two hits in the win.
Ted Suggs, Foster and Austin Howell combined to throw a two-hitter on the mound for the Eagles. Suggs got the win.
The Eagles (7-3 overall, 5-0 CCC) faces Wayne Country Day in the Charger Diamond Classic next Thursday.
