Hall paces WCDS past Ridgecroft

Patrick Hall provided two hits and two RBI as Wayne Country Day topped Ridgecroft, 6-2, in non-conference action Thursday afternoon.
Drew Barnes added a hit and an RBI. Mitch Turnage, Parker Smith Amane Godo and Zach Barfield all added hits for the Chargers.
John Strickland got the win on the bump going five innings striking out six and allowing one run. Jacob Magera threw two innings in relief.
Wayne Country Day (8-6 overall) entertains Wayne Christian next Thursday in the Charger Diamond Classic. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
