Warrior softball falls to JH Rose

GREENVILLE -- Trisha Bell carried a no-hitter into the third inning and Eastern Wayne held a 6-0 lead, but J.H. Rose stormed back for an 11-7 triumph in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play Wednesday.
The Rampants capitalized on a pair of fifth-inning errors and took command of the game.
Emily Uzzell led the Warriors' offense with four hits and an RBI. Chelsea Wynn (RBI) doubled in a two-hit effort. Akirra Coley connected on a triple.
Jaela Parks, Debbie Mitchell (two RBI) and Bell (RBI) provided one hit apiece.
