WCDS routs Neuse Christian

Mitch Turnage led the Chargers with three hits as Wayne Country Day beat Neuse Christian 13-1 on Wednesday afternoon.
John Strickland added three hits and two RBI, while Jacob Magera had two hits and two RBI. Patrick Hall drove in four runs. Zach Barfield, Drew Barnes and Mason Bland drove in one run apiece.
Magera got the win on the mound, throwing 22/3 innings with two strikeouts. Jacob Parks and Barfield provided the relief.
The Chargers (7-6 overall) play host to Ridgecroft today.
