Aycock's Chastain has personal-best meet

ATLANTA -- Zech Chastain found a "golden ticket" while competing during the Eastern Sectional Swimming Championships.
Only this prize didn't satisfy his sweet tooth.
Chastain, who competes for the Wilson Barracuda Swim Team, qualified to participate in a Select Team Camp scheduled in Charlotte toward the end of April. He punched his ticket with several personal-best efforts during the sectional meet.
The Charles B. Aycock freshman posted a 10th-place time of 54.94 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly and 12th-place mark of 2:00.26 in the 200 backstroke. Both times were personal bests and Barracuda team records.
Chastain logged personal-best times in all seven events he swam. The meet included more than 1,100 swimmers from nine different states.
