Wilson Christian defeats Faith Christian

WILSON -- Wilson Christian pushed across five unearned runs and handed Faith Christian an 8-1 defeat in a N.C. Christian Schools Association 2-A game on Friday.
Carter Hudson paced the Conquerors' offense with three hits, while Jack Casbarro batted 2-for-4.
Christian Mills started on the mound and took the pitching loss. He struck out six Wilson Christian batters and permitted six hits in four innings. Seventh-grader Cal Reese provided two innings of two-strikeout, four-hit relief.
Mills scored Faith's lone run.
The Conquerors (2-4 overall, 2-4 NCCSA) return to action April 7 at Raleigh Christian Academy.
