* Baseball: C.B. Aycock 11, Eastern Wayne 1 -- Chandler Matthews threw his second consecutive complete game, allowing one run on three hits in a mercy-rule win Friday afternoon. Matthews just missed hitting for the cycle with a three-hit, one-RBI performance. Chris Turner also had three hits with two RBI and Cameron Kornegay had two hits with three RBI for the Golden Falcons. The Golden Falcons (8-2 overall) visit North Lenoir next Wednesday.
