Chargers blank nemesis on soccer pitch

A late first-half goal gave Wayne Country Day a 1-0 win over Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference nemesis Greenfield on Friday afternoon.
Allison Bailey scored the Chargers' goal off of an assist from freshman Ally Willman.
WCDS keeper Bailee Creger recorded seven saves and earned her third shutout of the season.
The Chargers (3-0-0 overall, 2-0-0) overall visits Epiphany on Tuesday.
