Princeton dominates Carolina 1A boys track meet

PRINCETON -- Jose Moreno and Johnny Frasier each won a pair of individual events for Princeton, which also swept the top three positions in the pole vault during a Carolina 1-A Conference meet.
Moreno claimed the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs. Frasier, a Division I football recruit, topped the competition in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
Martin Bayles led a 1-2-3 finish in the pole vault with a mark of 9 feet, 6 inches. Dillon Pace took second, while Austin Sullivan placed third.
The Bulldogs won the 400- and 3,200-meter relays, and concluded the five-team meet with 120 points. Lakewood ended up second with 102 points, followed by Hobbton (55), Neuse Charter (34) and North Duplin (17).
North Duplin senior Emiliano Mora grabbed second in the shot put. Jorge Juarez claimed fourth in the 3,200, while teammate Chris Lee placed seventh in the 400.
The Rebels were third in the 3,200 relay.
