Hawks' softball team shuts out Eastern Wayne

North Lenoir defeated Eastern Wayne, 10-0, in non-conference action Thursday afternoon.
Nicole Robinson got the win for the Hawks, striking out eight and allowing two hits in the shutout.
Blythe Greene and Dani Moulton supplied half of the offense combining to go 4-4 with 5 RBI. Greene added a home run.
Brooke Morawski and Debbie Mitchell each had a hit for Eastern Wayne.
The Hawks (4-0 overall) play at Tarboro this afternoon, while the Warriors (0-4) play host to J.H. Rose today.
