Spring Creek softball now 2-0 in league play this season

Spring Creek routed Hobbton, 11-0, in a Carolina 1-A Conference matchup Thursday afternoon.
Sarah Ford had four hits and fell just a home run shy of hitting for the cycle. Alanna Price and Samantha Crouch each tallied doubles for the Gators.
Spring Creek piled up 15 hits including base knocks from Grace West, Ashley Marriner, Rachel McCollum, Sydney Ocker and Malorie Honeycutt.
Marriner got the shutout win with a 10-strikeout effort inside the pitcher's circle.
The Gators (4-1 overall, 2-0 CC) face Goldsboro on Monday.
