Surging Warriors roll past JH Rose

GREENVILLE -- Eastern Wayne is starting to build momentum on the wrestling mat.
The Warriors claimed their fifth victory in their last seven outings with a 49-27 triumph over J.H. Rose in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference action Wednesday evening.
Cainen Miller, Brice Heller, Kevin Tune, Justice Johnson, Quadrick Williams, Julian Bruton, Jamal Barrett, Rashaun Pridgen and heavyweight Bryan Wooten each picked up an individual win on the night.
Eastern Wayne (5-9 overall, 1-2 ECC) returns home Friday for a multi-team, non-conference dual meet.
