Rebels outlast Leopards in overtime

CALYPSO -- North Duplin outlasted Carolina 1-A Conference foe Lakewood for a 72-66 win in overtime on Thursday night.
Daron Goodman scored 20 points for the Rebels and Trey Pate added 18. Cody Ivey provided 17 points.
Willie Herring scored 14 points for the Leopards.
North Duplin (3-3 overall) faces Wallace-Rose Hill on Dec. 27 in the Duplin County Christmas Tournament at Kenan Auditorium.
