Wayne Country Day boys shut down RM Prep

WILSON -- Wayne Country Day defeated Rocky Mount Prep 85-64 during the Greenfield Christmas Tournament on Thursday evening.
Kris Cooley led the Chargers with 19 points. Victor Miller contributed 17 points and Joel Davis supplied 13. Marlon Coley added 12 points and Lee Atkinson had 10. Davis pulled down 10 rebounds and Atkinson distributed eight assists. Wayne Country Day knocked down 14 3-pointers.
The Chargers (10-3 overall) face state-ranked Trinity Christian-Fayetteville in the championship game today at Greenfield.
