Spring Creek nets conference-opening win

Spring Creek won five of six singles matches on its way to a 7-2 victory over Carolina 1-A Conference opponent Rosewood on Tuesday afternoon.
Anna Haggerty, Megan Jones, Carly Stevens, Grace West and Cassie Alphin each contributed a singles point for the Gators. The tandems of Haggerty-Jones and Stormy Westbrook-Sydney Ocker also prevailed for Spring Creek.
Shayla Marak earned the Eagles' lone singles win. The doubles team of Marak-Bethany Kirby was also victorious.
Spring Creek (2-1 overall, 1-0 CC) travels to unbeaten North Duplin on Thursday.
