No. 3-ranked Eastern Wayne tops J.H. Rose in tennis

GREENVILLE -- Third-ranked Eastern Wayne turned back Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe J.H. Rose 7-2 on Thursday afternoon.
Faith Sutton, Savannah Sutton, Cameron Dove, Debbie Mitchell and Brennan Dove all supplied a singles win for the Warriors.
The teams of Sutton-Sutton and Mitchell-B. Dove also earned doubles points.
Eastern Wayne (12-0 overall, 9-0 ECC) entertains D.H. Conley on Thursday.
