WCDS soccer edges Community Christian

Wayne Country Day got the benefit of an own goal and earned a 2-1, non-conference win over Community Christian on Monday afternoon.
Matt Kierski got the Chargers on the board when he converted a corner kick from Charlie Roethling. Wayne Country Day grabbed the lead late in the first half when Noah Adkins' crossing pass hit a Community defender and bounced into the net.
Wayne Country Day (5-6-1) visits Freedom Christian today.
