Rosewood cruises to Carolina 1A soccer road win

SMITHFIELD -- Rosewood opened up a three-goal lead in the first half and cruised to a 4-1 win over Carolina 1-A Conference newcomer Neuse Charter on Monday afternoon.
Ethan Chapin finished with a goal and an assist for the Eagles. Than Truong, Corey Lynn and Josh Drew each added one goal. Marquail Almontaser, Zach Barnes and Bryce McKeel each had an assist.
Rosewood (7-3-1 overall, 3-2-0 CC) travels to Princeton on Wednesday.
