WCDS nets 3-set win over Wayne Christian

Rachel Uzzell distributed 26 assists and Wayne Country Day swept Wayne Christian 25-8, 25-14, 25-15 at Clifford Gymnatorium on Thursday evening.
The Chargers' Celeste Davis tallied 12 kills and Sarah Crooks added 11 digs. Uzzell and Stephanie Schappell each had three aces.
Reagan Taylor led the Eagles with three aces and Brooke Slusher supplied two aces. Kelsie Cayes had two kills and an ace.
Wayne Christian (0-3 overall) visits Neuse Christian today. Wayne Country Day (2-2) plays host to Goldsboro on Tuesday.
