Rosewood places 3rd in 10-team golf match

Rosewood posted a team score of 151 and finished third in a 10-team golf match contested in Johnston County on Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles' Lindsey Burton shot a 44 and teammate Taylor Gales carded a 53. Alana Pipkin ended the day at 54 and Madison Overby collected a 58
Smithfield-Selma won the event with a total of 146 just ahead of West Johnston's score of 147. Corinth Holders was fourth with a mark of 153.
