Mooneyham leads Golden Falcons' effort

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock ran third overall during its opening ECC 3-A/4A cross country meet of the season.
Joseph Mooneyham led the Golden Falcons with a time of 21:22, which was good enough for third place. Conner Crandall finished 13th and John Parrish ran 15th for C.B. Aycock.
J.H. Rose captured the team event with 26 points. D.H. Conley finished second with 38 points.
All seven ECC teams will run at Boyd Lee Park in Winterville on Sept. 4.
