Greene Central rolls over Tarboro in tennis

WILSON -- Greene Central advanced to the finals of the season-opening Wilson Cup with an 8-1 win over Tarboro on Wednesday.
Taylor Keel, Lindsey May, MacKenzie Butts, Chasity Holloman nd Morgan Britt each claimed a singles point for the Rams.
The tandems of Brayden Radford-May, Keel-Holloman and Butts-Britt each prevailed in doubles play.
Greene Central (2-0 overall) faces Rocky Mount today, and will play either Hunt or Fike in the Cup championship at noon Saturday.
