Experienced Warriors off to 2-0 start in ECC girls' tennis

NEW BERN -- Eastern Wayne dropped just game the entire match in a 9-0 rout of Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe New Bern on Thursday afternoon.
Faith Sutton, Savannah Sutton, McKenna Dove, Cameron Dove, Debbie Mitchell and Brennan Dove were all victorious in singles play.
The doubles teams of F. Sutton/S. Sutton, M. Dove/C. Dove and Mitchell/Austin Jeffreys also prevailed.
Eastern Wayne (2-0 overall, 2-0 ECC) visits Wilson Fike on Monday.
