Morgan cranks out 18 kills, Eagles stay unbeaten in volleyball

Ellen Morgan hammered out 18 kills and Rosewood turned back North Johnston 25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19 on Thursday evening.
Morgan also recorded six blocks, three assists and an ace. Anna Ingram handed out 25 assists to go with three aces and three blocks. Lexi Mercer supplied 11 blocks, seven kills and three digs.
Hayley Mercer had six assists and Ashlynn Spell added six digs. Callie Thornton provided five kills.
The Eagles (3-0 overall) begin Carolina 1-A Conference play on Tuesday at Hobbton.
