Riverside defeats North Lenoir in Pitt County Classic

GREENVILLE -- North Lenoir completed play in the Pitt County Classic with a 5-3 loss to Durham Riverside on Tuesday evening at Guy Smith Stadium.
Luke Jackson and Tyler Smith both collected two hits for the Hawks. Noah Reese and Seth Beard each had a hit. Landon Letchworth got the start on the mound and surrendered two runs on three hits with one strikeout in four innings of work. Beard allowed three runs on five hits in relief.
North Lenoir (3-9 overall) plays host to Charles B. Aycock on Apr. 9.
