* Baseball: C.B. Aycock 7, Southern Wayne 6 -- Braxton Leeper (RBI) and Bryce Anders (two RBI) contributed two hits apiece in the Golden Falcons' win. Anders earned the save in relief of winning pitcher Jacob Sanders, who threw 1 1/3 innings of one-hit strikeout relief behind starter Charlie Robertson. Robertson (two RBI), Trent Herndon (RBI), Cameron Kornegay and Brandon Palmer each supplied a hit on the afternoon. The Golden Falcons stole four bases as a team.
* Baseball: C.B. Aycock 5, Eastern Wayne 1 -- Ryan Davis batted 2-for-2 in the Golden Falcons' triumph over the Warriors. Freshman Kyle Davis fanned six Eastern Wayne batters and permitted one run on five hits in a complete-game effort on the bump. Brandon Palmer, Cameron Kornegay, Blake Bartlett (RBI) and Tanner Stevens each had one hit on the day.
