Spring Creek places 2nd in Carolina 1-A track meet

AYDEN -- Spring Creek enjoyed second-place finishes during a Carolina 1-A Conference boys' and girls' meet at Ayden-Grifton on Thursday afternoon.
The host Chargers won the team competition.
Carlos Osorio won the discus and the shot put for Spring Creek. Matavius Brigham finished second in the discus. Xavier Aycock won the high jump and finished second in the 100 meter dash. The Gators claimed both the 800- and 3200-meter relays.
On the girls' side, Alyssa Borja won the 400-meter run. Casidy Goff finished third in the long jump and 100-meter hurdles. Sarah Casey ran third in the 100-meter dash.
Spring Creek won the 800 and 3,200 relays.
