Wayne Country Day hammers Epiphany in CPIC tennis

NEW BERN -- Wayne Country Day cruised past Epiphany 8-1 on Thursday afternoon.
Gianna Democko, Sarah Best, Abbey Pope, Anna Allen and Aimee Barnes all secured singles victories.
The doubles teams of Democko-Margaux Pope, Best-Abbey Pope and Meredith Roethling-Mollie Catherine McDonald also won.
The Chargers (9-2 overall) play host to Oakwood today.
