JV football: E. Wayne 31, C.B. Aycock 6

Ricky Steiner and K.K. Best both accounted for two touchdowns in Eastern Wayne's 31-6 win over Charles B. Aycock on Thursday night.
Steiner scored on a 7-yard touchdown run and also threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Zeke Martin. Best returned a punt 43 yards for a score and had a 27-yard touchdown run. John Stephens added a 15-yard touchdown run for the Warriors.
Kevin Larson paced the Eastern Wayne defense with seven tackles and four assists. Darren Demps contributed six tackles and two assists. T.J. Hall, Robert Gonzalez, James Franks and Best each had an interception.
