CBA sweeps So. Wayne in ECC volleyball action

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock finished the regular season with a 25-10, 25-13, 25-12 win over Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference foe Southern Wayne on Thursday.
Meredith Burroughs paced the Golden Falcons with 12 kills. Madison Mercer added seven kills and Reagan Herndon had six kills.
Aycock (10-8 overall, 7-5 ECC) plays host to South Johnston on Monday at 6 p.m. in the first round of the season-ending conference tournament.
