DUDLEY -- Southern Wayne dropped a pivotal match in the Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference race with a 3-1 setback against South Johnston on Wednesday night.
Billy Gonzales scored the lone Saints' goal.
Southern Wayne (8-7-1 overall, 5-5-0 ECC) visits Princeton tonight.
