Area games postponed, rescheduled

Spring Creek's home match against Carolina 1-A Conference foe Rosewood has been moved to today. Kickoff is 5 p.m. at "The Swamp." Otto Binar has punched in an area-leading 18 goals for the Gators, who are the four-time defending conference champions.
Southern Wayne ventures into Little Big Horn for a 6 p.m. battle against Eastern Wayne. The Saints seek the regular-season sweep, while the Warriors hope to end a 10-game skid.
Charles B. Aycock visits Cleveland, which needs one win to secure a share of the Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference regular-season championship. The Golden Falcons, meanwhile, are on the playoff bubble.
North Lenoir is the guest of South Johnston.
In girls' tennis, the Charles B. Aycock-Triton "play-in" match was rescheduled for today at Mount Olive College. First serve is 4 p.m. and the winner grabs the ECC's No. 2 seed for the N.C. High School Athletic Association 3-A dual-team playoffs.
Spring Creek and North Duplin moved their girls' tennis match to Thursday. The two meet with an NCHSAA dual-team playoff berth at stake.

Lou Ellen Flowers captured low net. Novella Zambelli secured low putts.
Middle schools
* Volleyball: Norwayne d. Rosewood 20-25, 19-25, 25-12, 25-23, 15-3 -- Norwayne rallied from two sets down to defeat Rosewood on Monday afternoon. Ada Rivera led Rosewood with 10 aces. Norwayne remained unbeaten on the season at 8-0 overall. The Cobras will host Spring Creek on Thursday.
